Kai is a motor sailer of 21 metres in length and 5 metres across the beam, with a draft of 1 metre that allows her to keep close to the shore and into the quieter anchorages of the Caribbean. Built in 1983 and refitted in 2024, she combines the character of a traditional vessel with the comfort expected of a modern charter.

Her accommodation is arranged for six guests across three guest cabins, a scale that suits a family, a small group of friends or a couple seeking a more personal voyage. She is supported by a crew of two, who attend to the day-to-day running of the yacht so that guests can give their attention to the sea and the islands.

Kai is based in St. Thomas, and her cruising grounds are the Caribbean. Her shallow draft and manageable size make her well suited to the varied coastline of the region, where sheltered bays, quiet harbours and changing winds reward a measured and unhurried pace.
