Son Histoire

Tanana is a motor sailer of 23 metres in length and 5 metres in beam, built in 1988 and refitted in 2021. Her 3-metre draft allows her to work through the sheltered channels and anchorages of her home waters, and her proportions give her the composed, unhurried character of a vessel designed for purposeful passage rather than display.

She accommodates up to eight guests in four guest cabins, supported by a crew of three. The scale is intimate: a size at which the crew can attend to each guest without ceremony, and at which a party of friends or family can share the whole vessel comfortably.

Based in Ushuaia, Tanana cruises the Americas, a region that rewards a vessel of her size with a wide range of landings, from the southern fjords to more northerly coastlines. Her home port places the charter at the start of some of the most dramatic sailing waters in the world.

The 2021 refit brought the vessel up to contemporary standards while retaining the character of her original build. Guests choosing Tanana can expect a yacht that is practical, well kept and quietly capable, suited to those who value sea time and considered itineraries over spectacle.
