Son Histoire

There is only one original. When Wally Yachts launched WALLY ONE in 1991, naval architect Luca Brenta delivered a vessel so far ahead of its time that the sailing world was forced to reconsider what a performance cruising yacht could be. As the first hull in the now-legendary Wally Yachts line, she established the design language — clean, powerful, purposeful — that would go on to define one of yachting's most celebrated marques. More than three decades later, she remains not merely relevant but genuinely extraordinary.

Measuring 25.15 metres overall with a beam of 6.50 metres and a draft of 4.00 metres, WALLY ONE is classified as a Wally 83 and built to a composite construction that balances structural rigidity with lively responsiveness under sail. Her Yanmar engine of 360 horsepower ensures dependable passages under power, with a cruising speed of 11 knots that makes light work of coastal hops and open-water crossings alike. She sails under a British flag and holds MCA compliance, reflecting her readiness for the discerning charter market.

Following a comprehensive refit completed in 2022, WALLY ONE emerges in exceptional condition, her systems renewed and her aesthetic refreshed without disturbing the integrity of her original design vision. The result is a yacht that feels simultaneously historic and current — a collector's piece that performs as spiritedly as the day she was launched. Her triumphant return to charter has been met with outstanding guest reviews, underscoring how rare it is for a vessel to age with such grace.

On deck, the layout is spacious and thoughtfully arranged for both sailing performance and leisurely outdoor living. A canopy-sheltered alfresco dining area provides a civilised setting for long lunches at anchor, while plush beige bean bags scattered across the deck invite guests to stretch out and absorb the Mediterranean sun. The interplay of functional sailing geometry and guest comfort is quintessentially Wally — nothing is superfluous, everything serves a purpose, and the result is deeply satisfying. Notably, WALLY ONE is also available for prestigious regattas, including Les Voiles de Saint-Tropez (26 September – 4 October 2026), making her an irresistible choice for guests who wish to race as well as cruise.

Below decks, rich warm wood panelling envelops the interior in a cocoon of refined comfort. Generous skylights draw natural light deep into the saloon, illuminating a generous lounge area dressed in plush grey seating with light blue cushions — a palette that speaks of sea air and relaxed elegance. The adjoining dining area mirrors this aesthetic, offering an intimate gathering space that feels as appropriate for a family breakfast as for a candlelit dinner at sea. WALLY ONE is, in every sense, a living legend made available for charter.

L’Expérience à Bord

Performance and Pleasure, Perfectly Balanced

Where the thrill of the open sea meets the ease of a life well lived.

Life aboard WALLY ONE unfolds across a deck designed for both the dedicated sailor and the unhurried guest. The canopy-shaded outdoor dining area accommodates the full charter party in convivial alfresco style, sheltered from the midday sun without sacrificing the sensation of being entirely at sea. Plush beige bean bags provide an informal counterpoint — the perfect perch from which to watch the coastline drift past or simply close one's eyes and listen to the water. The composite hull's clean lines ensure the deck remains uncluttered and purposeful, a rare quality in a yacht of this vintage.

For those who wish to explore beyond the yacht, WALLY ONE carries an enviable array of water toys and equipment. Guests may take to the water on paddle boards, try their hand at wakeboarding or water skiing, or skim behind the tender on a donut or other towable. A dedicated tender provides efficient and stylish shore access, while full snorkelling equipment opens the underwater world of the Mediterranean to curious guests. Fishing equipment rounds out the roster for those who prefer a more contemplative connection with the sea. The professional crew of four attends to every detail — provisioning, navigation, water sports supervision, and the seamless orchestration of each day's itinerary — ensuring that no guest need concern themselves with anything other than enjoyment.

In the salon below, the warm wood-panelled interior creates an atmosphere of understated luxury. The generous saloon with its plush grey and light blue seating offers a natural gathering point in the evenings, while the dining area provides an elegant setting for the chef's table. The entire interior benefits from natural light flooding through oversized skylights, lending the spaces a bright, airy quality rare in a vessel of this period. Whether racing at Les Voiles de Saint-Tropez or anchored off a secluded Corsican cove, the onboard experience aboard WALLY ONE is one of effortless, purposeful pleasure.

Hébergement des Invités

An Intimate Retreat Beneath the Waterline

Three private cabins, crafted for comfort, enveloped in the warmth of fine wood.

WALLY ONE accommodates up to six guests across three thoughtfully designed cabins, each finished in the rich warm wood panelling that characterises the yacht's interior aesthetic. The main cabin — positioned for privacy and comfort — is configured with a queen-size double bed, offering the principal guests a generous private retreat complete with its own en-suite facilities. The balance of intimate scale and considered design makes this the natural heart of the accommodation deck.

Two further twin cabins complete the guest quarters, each configured with paired single berths that make them ideally suited to children, friends, or those who simply prefer their own sleeping space. The twin cabins share the same warm, wood-enveloped character as the master, and all three cabins benefit from the natural light that cascades through the yacht's generous skylights. Together, the three-cabin layout makes WALLY ONE a natural choice for family charters or small groups of friends seeking an intimate, high-performance sailing experience in the Western Mediterranean.

France

Le glamour sur la Côte d'Azur

The French Riviera and Corsica represent the spiritual home waters of a yacht like WALLY ONE — a coastline where performance sailing and effortless glamour have always coexisted. Setting out from Marseille, guests can trace the golden arc of the Provençal coast eastward through the calanques and sheltered coves toward Saint-Tropez, pausing at Porquerolles or Port-Cros along the way. The light here has a particular quality — crystalline and warm — that makes every anchorage feel as though it has been arranged specifically for your arrival.

Corsica adds a wilder dimension to any French charter itinerary aboard WALLY ONE. The island's dramatic granite headlands, turquoise lagoons, and near-deserted northern anchorages offer a counterpoint to the Riviera's sociable ports. Sailing her 25 metres through the Strait of Bonifacio with the wind filling her sails is among the finer pleasures the Western Mediterranean can offer, and the island's rugged interior serves as a breathtaking backdrop to evenings spent at anchor in perfect silence. For guests who wish to combine performance sailing with the prestige of competition, Les Voiles de Saint-Tropez — for which WALLY ONE is expressly available — delivers racing alongside the world's most beautiful maxi yachts against the backdrop of St Tropez's famous citadel.
