Son Histoire

Amante is a contemporary Fountaine Pajot Saba 50 catamaran, launched in 2023, representing the finest in modern multihull design and performance. This 15-metre luxury catamaran combines the spacious, stable platform characteristic of her design with refined interior appointments and exceptional outdoor entertaining spaces. Built by the renowned French shipyard Fountaine Pajot, the Saba 50 benefits from decades of catamaran innovation and engineering excellence.

Her twin Volvo Penta DO2 75 HP engines deliver a comfortable cruising speed of 7.5 knots, providing both efficiency and dependability across varied sea conditions. The catamaran's generous 8.08-metre beam creates an exceptionally wide platform, maximizing interior volume and deck space while maintaining excellent stability. With a modest draft of 1.58 metres, Amante can access shallow anchorages and protected coves inaccessible to deeper-keeled vessels, opening a wealth of Mediterranean exploration opportunities.

The expansive deck layout begins forward with a generous sunbathing platform that welcomes morning light and afternoon relaxation. Twin flybridge lounges, separated by the helm station, offer commanding views and multiple entertaining configurations. The aft deck features a dedicated alfresco dining area, perfect for sunset meals and intimate gatherings. A sophisticated main saloon and formal indoor dining space provide elegant alternatives during inclement weather, while the galley is thoughtfully equipped for sophisticated provisioning.

Amante is actively chartered from her home port in Rhodes, with additional departures available from Kos and Patmos, placing her ideally for explorations of the Dodecanese Islands and the broader Aegean Sea. Her professional crew of three ensures seamless service, expert local knowledge, and attentive hospitality throughout every voyage.

L’Expérience à Bord

Days of Effortless Elegance

Where ocean vistas and refined comfort define every moment at sea.

Life aboard Amante unfolds across expansive interconnected spaces designed for both intimate relaxation and social gathering. The forward sunbathing platform invites guests to drift in Mediterranean sun, while the twin flybridge lounges command breathtaking panoramic views of passing coastline and distant islands. The helm station sits centrally between these lounging areas, creating a social hub where guests can converse with the captain and crew whilst enjoying the voyage. Multiple shaded seating arrangements ensure comfort throughout the day's changing light and temperature.

The main saloon is a sanctuary of contemporary elegance, appointed with comfortable seating that overlooks the sea through expansive windows. Adjacent lies a formal indoor dining area where culinary excellence can be enjoyed during evening meals, complete with refined tableware and atmospheric ambiance. The galley is fully equipped to support gourmet provisioning, with modern appliances and generous storage for fresh ingredients sourced from local markets at each island destination. Water capacity of 2 x 450 litres ensures ample freshwater supplies throughout extended voyages.

The aft deck features a dedicated alfresco dining area, the perfect setting for long, convivial meals beneath Mediterranean stars. A Seabob electric watercraft enables exhilarating aquatic exploration, allowing guests to venture beyond the vessel and discover hidden coves and crystalline waters. Complementary snorkelling equipment provides intimate access to thriving marine ecosystems. Four dedicated guest bathrooms and showers with premium toiletries ensure every guest enjoys spa-like refreshment after sun and sea adventures.

Suites Above the Aegean

Four exquisitely appointed cabins offering sanctuary, style, and panoramic seascapes.

Amante accommodates up to eight guests across four thoughtfully designed cabins, each a private sanctuary combining comfort with the distinctive advantages of catamaran living. The master cabin is a generously proportioned suite featuring a queen bed, panoramic portholes framing Aegean vistas, and an ensuite bathroom with shower and premium toiletries. The cabin's bright, airy aesthetic capitalizes on the catamaran's width and natural light, creating an intimate retreat that never feels confined.

Three additional VIP cabins complete the accommodation offering, each with its own ensuite bathroom and shower. These guest suites feature double berths and are individually designed to maximize comfort and natural illumination through strategically positioned portholes. The catamaran's shallow draft and wide beam translate to exceptionally spacious cabin interiors for a vessel of this length, with ample headroom, storage for personal belongings, and individual climate control ensuring restful sleep regardless of external conditions. Soft furnishings and contemporary interior design create a cohesive aesthetic throughout.

All four cabins benefit from the catamaran's inherent stability, a hallmark advantage of multihull design. The dual-hull configuration minimizes pitching and rolling even in moderate sea states, ensuring guests sleep undisturbed as Amante glides smoothly through Mediterranean waters. Thoughtful soundproofing and cabin placement maintain privacy whilst allowing guests to enjoy the gentle motion of the sea and the subtle sounds of wind and water.

Grèce

La mythologie, rendue tangible

Amante is ideally positioned to explore the timeless beauty and ancient heritage of the Aegean Sea, specifically the magnificent Dodecanese Islands. Rhodes, her home port, sits at the gateway to one of Greece's most enchanting archipelagos—a constellation of islands steeped in classical mythology, Byzantine history, and Hellenic culture. From Rhodes' vibrant waterfront and the awe-inspiring Palace of Grand Masters, guests embark on voyages to lesser-known gems that reveal the authentic character of Aegean island life.

The Dodecanese—'twelve islands' in ancient Greek—form a sun-drenched province spanning from Rhodes southward to Symi, Tilos, Nisyros, Kos, Patmos, Leros, Kalymnos, and Lipsi. Each island possesses its own distinct personality: Symi's impossibly picturesque harbourfront with candy-coloured houses rising from sapphire waters; Patmos' sacred monasteries and spiritual significance; Kos with its cosmopolitan beaches and Asklepion ruins; Nisyros with its mesmerizing volcanic crater lake and whitewashed villages. Protected anchorages abound, from the sheltered bay at Nimborio to the crystalline waters surrounding the uninhabited islet of Meis. World-class snorkelling awaits in waters teeming with marine life, whilst Seabob exploration reveals hidden grottos and submerged archaeological sites.

Chartering Amante from Rhodes, Kos, or Patmos affords the unique pleasure of experiencing authentic Greek island hospitality at a leisurely pace. Village tavernas serve just-caught fish and local wine beneath ancient olive trees; family-run ferries still connect remote settlements; traditional sponge-diving continues in crystalline shallows. With three dedicated crew members and a catamaran's exceptional shallow-draft capability, Amante accesses anchorages and villages that larger vessels cannot reach, ensuring an intimate, unhurried immersion in Aegean culture and natural beauty.
