Son Histoire

SELENE is a spacious and elegantly appointed Lagoon 620 catamaran, built in 2015 and comprehensively refitted in 2019. Measuring 18 metres in length with a generous beam of 9.78 metres and a shallow draft of 1.55 metres, she exemplifies the modern catamaran's perfect balance of stability, comfort, and agile navigation. Powered by twin Volvo D3 diesel engines of 150 HP each, SELENE cruises at a steady seven knots, making her ideally suited for leisurely exploration of the Aegean's most enchanting islands.

Her design philosophy embraces seamless living between interior and exterior spaces. The sleek, purposeful hull speaks to the catamaran's fundamental character: a vision sculpted from sunlight and movement, inviting guests to experience the Cyclades as few ever do, through the rhythm of the waves and the quiet poetry of the Aegean. The saloon opens generously to sea views that seem to spill into the room, creating a harmonious blend of space and serenity where light and air flow unimpeded.

Every evening unfolds like a painting aboard SELENE. The aft deck glows beneath the Mykonian sunset, a table set for stories and laughter beneath the stars. The foredeck becomes a sanctuary for early risers, where trampolines sway gently as the sky blushes pink at dawn. By midday, the flybridge hums with conversation and the glint of Ouzo as the horizon embraces distant shores. The interiors echo a philosophy of harmony, where teak wood, soft neutral tones, and thoughtful design create spaces that feel at once sophisticated and intimately welcoming.

SELENE's catamaran hull configuration distributes guest cabins across both hulls, ensuring exceptional privacy and spaciousness that rivals many larger motor yachts. This innovative layout, combined with the reduced rolling motion characteristic of catamarans, makes SELENE an ideal choice for those seeking the freedom of sailing without compromising on comfort or stability. Whether you are experienced sailors or simply lovers of the sea, SELENE invites you to discover the true spirit of Aegean cruising.

L’Expérience à Bord

Life Aboard the Waves

Where every moment flows with effortless grace and endless possibility.

SELENE's onboard experience seamlessly blends relaxation with adventure. The yacht features full air conditioning throughout, ensuring comfort during warm Mediterranean days. A well-appointed entertainment system provides music and connectivity, while onboard WiFi keeps guests connected to the world—or allows them to disconnect entirely, as preferred. An ice maker delivers refreshing drinks, and the comprehensive BBQ and full galley facilities enable both formal dinners and casual deck entertaining. Deck showers rinse away salt water, and the generous bimini awning provides shaded respite from the Aegean sun.

For water enthusiasts, SELENE's collection of water toys is exceptional. Twin SeaBobs deliver thrilling exploration of the turquoise bays; two stand-up paddleboards invite peaceful paddling; a two-person kayak opens secret coves; and a wakeboard, water skis, monoski, and kneeboard ensure every skill level finds joy on the water. An inflatable donut tube provides lighthearted fun, while comprehensive snorkelling gear—complemented by rendezvous diving opportunities with the Captain—allows intimate encounters with Aegean marine life. Fishing gear stands ready for those seeking a different kind of adventure. A tender measuring 4.7 metres with a 50 HP outboard (seating six) offers convenient access to remote anchorages and villages beyond, while beach games, baby life jackets, and thoughtful amenities ensure every guest—young and old—finds their perfect moment aboard.

The extensive deck spaces—from the foredeck trampolines to the aft entertaining area and the commanding flybridge—provide multiple sanctuaries for sun, shade, conversation, or solitude. Every detail has been considered to transform your week aboard SELENE into an experience of authentic luxury and unforgettable freedom.

Hébergement des Invités

Suites Above the Sea

An intimate sanctuary where every cabin feels like a dream.

SELENE's five guest cabins offer spacious comfort distributed across both hulls, ensuring exceptional privacy and independence for all aboard. Each cabin features a queen bed, allowing maximum flexibility for couples, small families, or friends seeking their own retreat. The cabins are thoughtfully appointed with teak wood accents, soft neutral furnishings, and carefully chosen design elements that reflect the serene beauty of the Aegean. Full air conditioning maintains comfort throughout warm Mediterranean nights, while the intelligent catamaran design positions cabins to maximize natural light and gentle ventilation.

Each of the five cabins enjoys its own en-suite bathroom and shower, eliminating any need to share facilities and ensuring privacy and convenience for all guests. The distribution of cabins across the twin hulls means that groups of friends or extended families can enjoy companionship during the day while retreating to genuinely private, spacious quarters at night. The absence of movement and rolling that characterises monohull sailing makes these cabins particularly restful; the catamaran's stability allows for truly peaceful sleep even as gentle swells pass beneath.

Collectively, the five queen cabins accommodate ten guests comfortably, making SELENE ideal for groups ranging from two couples to larger family gatherings or friend circles. Every sleeping space has been conceived as a personal sanctuary—a place to rest, refresh, and prepare for another day of Aegean discovery. The careful attention to comfort, privacy, and design ensures that what happens in SELENE's cabins is as memorable as what happens on her exceptional deck spaces.

Grèce

La mythologie, rendue tangible

Chartering SELENE through the Greek islands is an invitation to experience the Cyclades and Aegean Sea as few ever do. Departing from Athens, the iconic capital where ancient ruins meet modern elegance, you set sail into waters that have inspired poets and philosophers for millennia. SELENE's shallow draft of just 1.55 metres and catamaran design allow access to remote anchorages and hidden bays that larger yachts cannot reach, while her twin hulls provide the stability that allows you to explore with confidence and comfort.

The Cyclades Islands—including Mykonos, Paros, Sifnos, and countless others—reveal themselves day by day from SELENE's generous decks. Mornings might find you diving from the foredeck into crystalline turquoise waters, or paddling a stand-up board toward a whitewashed village that seems untouched by time. Afternoons invite leisurely motoring to the next anchorage, lunch prepared by your chef served alfresco on the aft deck. Evenings transform the flybridge into an open-air dining room as the sun descends over the horizon in shades of amber and rose. The freedom of chartering SELENE—to anchor where you wish, to linger in places that enchant you, to explore both famous islands and secret spots known only to locals—defines the true spirit of Aegean sailing.

Captain Theodore Giannisis, born on the island of Andros and possessing RYA/MCA Yacht Master Offshore certification, brings lifelong maritime expertise and genuine love for these waters to every journey. Chef George Kazatzis infuses each meal with creativity and the vibrant flavours of Greece, while Deck Stew Alexandros Bozikis ensures every detail runs seamlessly. Together, this dedicated crew transforms your Cycladic adventure into an experience of authentic luxury, warm Greek hospitality, and unforgettable moments beneath skies as blue and boundless as the sea itself.
